What are the limits of mashup?

You probably saw the earlier found Chevy/Apprentice u-do-it environmental spot from their flash-based "You are the Director" thing. Well, I couldn't help myself so above is my effort.

Now, it's doubtful they'd want something like this running on the 6 o-clock news, but there's a certain level of "impressed" that I have that GM's legal would consent to handing out sharp knives like this. In comedy, they say self-deprecation is one of the handiest tools and requires more self-confidence and skill than say, Dennis Miller's shtick. I suppose there are people who'd go after GM with GM's own blade. The environmental spot was a gimme. But where's the sport in that, uhh, vehicle? This thing is so engaging, it's begging for accidental GM-sponsored social commentary. Is that a good thing? I think that's a good thing.

Good for you, GM. I await your C&D.

Do you know if there's an aftermarket version of that laser defense system? I think it'd come in awfully handy in the grocery store parking lot.
