Dr. Rush Limbaugh, on meds

Well, what can you say? Rush thinks Michael J. Fox went off his meds to make a commercial for a Missouri Demcrat, Claire MC Caskill.

I stated when I saw the ad, I was commenting to you about it, that he was either off the medication or he was acting. He is an actor, after all." [link to C&L]

Limbaugh said he got "lots" of emails saying Michael J. Fox does that when he needs to ratchet up the empathy in front of congressional commitee and such. Ah, the informed listenership of America. Being *on* meds creates that shaking and being *off* meds means you mostly sit there like a statue, Cortex and Basal motor skills disconnected.

The New Republic does the amazing and actually gets some facts from the director of the Parkinson's Clinic at University of Maryland Medical Center.

Limbaugh, with "talent on loan from God," is supposedly the conscience of 20 million conservatives. According to Nielsen, the number, at least, is true.
