The History of Branding. Sorta, kinda, almost.

The History of branding
Bumped into a resource on many company births and evolutions. Some is lifted and buffed corporate boilerplate with the rough edges sanded off, others seem more editorially independent. It does appear to suffer the common conflation of logo and advertisement as "brand" rather than those things merely being the vehicles to communicate the deeper, intrinsic value worth exchanging our money for. Somewhat diverting for armchair business archaeologists, but not really deep on "brand" or its "history." Still, interesting anecdotes as you click around the logos.
