Brain Sex Test - Have a ruler handy

It seems many of us are bi-hemispherically-curious or Brain-confused, at least according to the webstats after the dancing girl. So why not a test for Male and Female orientation and preference when it comes to how our Brain does its thing? (Sorry, couldn't resist the easy cheap entendres.)

Aren't we lucky--BBC has one online, here.

It takes about, 25 minutes and actually relies on several reputable studies or strands of research thought on what makes XX and XY different. If you can't read the teeny type for the 6 sections in the screengrab above they are:
  1. Complete simple tasks to find out how your brain works. 3 mins
  2. Your body can reveal clues about your mind. 1 min
  3. What you see in others and the roots of your behaviour. 5 mins
  4. Testosterone and your ring finger. You'll need a ruler for this. 5 min
  5. What's your mate preference? The attractiveness test. 3 mins
  6. Words, 3D shapes and what they say about you. 5 mins
The test is visuals, photos, shapes and words--an intriguing and engaging mix. After finishing, you'll get a somewhat detailed web-page output of your results, explained and compared with others of your sex and those of the opposite one. It really is a pretty cool test and perhaps somewhat jitter-inducing as you're wondering about the outcome relative to your identity and tendency and whatnot in a culture so sensitive to such things. If you're wondering how extensive, or how nervous to be, here's a link of my results (192kb PDF).

I don't think it gives anything away to show why you'll need a ruler, with milimeters.

Good luck!
