Andy Garcia goes to the Olympics

Next, Fashion Week in Milan?
[update: Golden Palace dot com has the video (11mb swf). Our budding spokesmodel turns out to be a Canuck, Ron Bensimhon, reprising a similar stunt he performed at the World Figure Skating Championships. (Funny how he doesn't do this at say, the Indy 500. Or the Biathlon.) Also, turns out the American, Russian, and Chinese teams blew their points advantages after this stunt and lost Gold to the Greek team. Ouch. A Canadian. Named Bensimhon. The UN holiday office party should be a doozy this year.

Next, Fashion Week in Milan?
AFP: A man wearing a ballet suit stands on the three-meter springboard before diving in. Olympics Games organisers ordered beefed-up security at all venues after an embarrassing breach involving a Canadian man who leapt into the pool during a synchronised diving event. It took the officials a few minutes to figure out a dog paddling man in a tutu with grafitti on his chest seemed out of place. Look on the bright side: The security screening for bearded men in camouflage tutus must be working.
